How Teryli works

From the first search to the next call.

Step one is free and open to anyone. Steps two to four happen inside your organization’s own paid workspace.

  1. 01 Find a program

    Free · no account

    Counted Oct 23, 2026 · 46 states + DC

Published records list their sources, the research date and the intake contact the program publishes. No ratings. The example shown is fictional.

    • Detox and inpatient through outpatient, sober living and community services.
    • Filter by location, age, population, specialty and level of care.
    • Nobody can pay for placement. No rankings.

In a crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911. The Directory is not an emergency service.

A program record in the Teryli Program Directory: Bright Fern Outpatient in Arlington, Virginia. It shows the building entrance, the levels of care (intensive outpatient and outpatient), the admissions contact's name and title, and a direct phone number. Fictional example.
  2. 02 Record the referral

One record per referral, in one place.

Each referral shows where it went, what happened last, when the follow-up is due and its status. The board sorts what needs action first.

    • Needs action, awaiting a response and closed, grouped for you.
    • A decline always carries its reason.
    • It lives in your organization’s own workspace, separate from the public Directory.
The referrals board in the Teryli app: five fictional referrals grouped as needs action, awaiting facility response and closed. Each row shows the client initials and owner, the destination program, the last activity, the follow-up date and a status such as Info requested, Waitlisted, Awaiting response or Accepted.

  3. 03 Assign the owner

Every next call has a name and a due date.

Each open item has an owner and a due date. Overdue work stands out before anyone has to ask who has it.

Shared coordination work in the Teryli app: three open items, one overdue. Each shows the client initials, the next step, the due time and the owner, for example: confirm preferred appointment times, then call intake with an update, due tomorrow, owner A.O. Fictional example.

  4. 04 Follow through

A teammate picks it up without starting over.

Anyone on the team opens the same board and sees the status, the open question and the next call, on a laptop or a phone.

The same referrals board on a phone: R.N., owner A.O., destination Northgate Community Care, follow-up overdue Sep 7, reply needs response, status Info requested; S.M., owner K.D., Sable Creek Day Program, due Sep 9, waitlisted. Fictional example.

Five years in behavioral health, first as a case manager and then as a director. Teryli is the record he kept wishing existed: what a program offers, who owns the referral, and when the next call is due.
